ZeZe Equine is proud to be the home of the University of Kansas Equestrian Team. The KU Equestrian team is a collective of equine athletes, from many different backgrounds, who have come together over their shared passion of the equestrian sport. The team currently practice weekly, as well as compete as a hunter jumper english team on the IHSA circuit. The main philosophy on KUET is to continuously learn, improve, work together, and have fun! The KU Equestrian team competes in Zone 7 Region 5 of the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association. The team focuses on having fun, while also continuously working on skills, to be the best they can be for competitions. The team travel's to scheduled IHSA english shows each semester. Show weekends are a great way for the team to bond and they have had nothing but positive feedback from members after attending IHSA shows.
Hey! My name is Abby Moore. I am a freshman (incoming sophomore) studying multimedia journalism at KU. I hope to continue my journalism career into covering politics wherever the world takes me. My favorite thing about being on the team is getting to ride with some of my best friends, every lesson I learn something new and it's the perfect escape from the stressful world of college. Rock Chalk!
